Women in Energy
The Women in Energy Directory is an initiative of Renewable Energy Ireland that is designed to help promote and to profile women working in the Irish energy sector.
Inspired by Renewable UK’s Switch List we want to help our industry, and particularly our colleagues organising events and conferences, showcase the women who are building and leading Ireland’s energy revolution at every level and across every technology.
We would like to thank those women who participated in an online survey which helped us to design this project and convinced us of the need. More than 90 per cent of those who participated in the survey supported the initiative and believed it would help raise the profile of women in the industry.
The women featured in this directory are available to participate in workshops, conferences, seminars and other events speaking to their areas of expertise and the work they are so passionate about.
And we are constantly encouraging more women to sign up to the directory and to help inspire the next generation of women starting out in Ireland’s energy industry so please help us in this by sharing details of this project throughout your network and on social media..
In addition to their availability to participate in workshops, conferences, seminars and other events, a number of women have agreed to be profiled in case studies to highlight women working in the Irish energy industry. We will start to publish these case studies in the coming weeks.
